Topic : Stress Relieving

Why the steel stress relief process is important?

Stress relief process is a heat-treating process applied to some metal especially steel. This process is used to remove the stresses generated by manufacturing processes like welding, bending and laser cutting.

With a stress relief process, the steel improves its resistance to distortion and, ultimately, increases its resistance to cracking, therefore the material has a longer lifespan.

Every steel goes through stress relief process directly by all manufacturers. Unfortunately, the handling of the primary material puts stress back on, which might distort the product.

To stand out from the competition, Plate 2000 uses its own unique stress relief process besides the common one. It offers the highest quality treated  steel for the pans on the market; pans that do not deform, crack or perforate prematurely.

As a matter of fact, P2K’s pans are up to 30% more resistant than the most known brands.
